New York — New York Congressmen Thomas Suozzi and Peter King published a piece today in Washington making the case for federal support for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, New York’s struggling public transit system. Writing in The Hill , Suozzi and King are arguing that a functional, robust public transit system is needed to support metropolitan New York’s emergence from the Covid-19 pandemic.
