What is Dreamspace Chronicles?
It’s an unfolding journey told in serial form: you’ll meet Allison, a neurodivergent writer who stumbles into the mysterious Dreamspace, a place between worlds, filled with sentient sparks, magical companions (like Felipe the rainbow armadillo and Thimble the Spark Keeper), and adventures that blur the line between waking and dreaming.
Each new chapter is released here, first for subscribers, then made available for everyone after a short exclusivity window. Along the way, you’ll find bonus scenes, lore snippets, and cozy “Dreamspace After Dark” vignettes, a peek into the everyday magic (and chaos) of this universe.
Why Serial Fiction? Why Now?
As a writer, I’ve always loved the anticipation that comes with waiting for the next chapter, like savoring a story piece by piece, building excitement, and living inside a world as it grows. My inspiration? Stephen King’s The Green Mile was first published as a monthly serial before it was later adapted into a novel. There’s something electric about reading in real time, not knowing exactly what’s next, and sharing the experience as a community.
That’s what I’m doing here. Dream Space Chronicles: Allison’s Awakening is unfolding chapter by chapter, volume by volume. As each piece is finished, I share it with you—raw, alive, and full of possibility. Eventually, these chapters will be woven together into full volumes, and those volumes will become a complete novel. You’re not just reading a finished book—you’re part of its creation.

Hi, I’m Nicole Myers (Niki): writer, worldbuilder, neurodivergent dreamer. I created Dream Space Chronicles to tell stories that feel both real and wondrous, with characters who embrace difference and find magic in everyday survival.
I write this way because I want you to feel the story becoming, to experience the anticipation, the “what’s next,” and to remember that sometimes the magic is in the waiting. Publishing chapter by chapter means taking creative risks in public, letting things be imperfect, and inviting you to witness (and maybe even influence) the process.
