The door

I was sitting in my home office when I suddenly felt the urge to open the door. This is a special door that only the head of house sees. Everytime I open this door, it could change the scenery. Sometimes, it's a beautiful countryside and sometimes it's a spooky castle. It's so relaxing to see what is inside the door.

Let me tell you about this home. I live in an old, four bedroom three and a half bath, log cabin.My great, great, great grandfather built it by hand for my great, great, great grandmother. Some renovations have been done since their time, but it's still just as beautiful as when it was first built. I use the original main study as my office. Anyone who comes in here; those allowed that is, will see three doors. One to the rest of the house that you enter from. The second one is a small private bathroom. The third one is a walk in closet. What no one sees is the fourth door. This is a special door that only appears when you believe in the magic of the place.

I decided to see why I was getting the urge. I get to a stopping point in my counting; and decide to open the door. I'm just about to open the door, when I hear a knock on the other door. I sit back in my chair and tell them to come in. It was my boyfriend visiting me. We have been together for a few months. I asked him to stay with me for the night. I told him to come to the door when he woke up. I knew I would be awake before him. I was up for about three hours; when he came in.
