Kanopus Chronicles: The Eye of Argona-CHAPTER 3
But before Kano could reach the pool, he heard a mysterious voice say:
“Excuse me, sir. You look like a man with his whole future ahead of him. How’d you like to know what it will be?”
He turned to the question and saw a woman.
She had an alabaster complexion and black hair that shone in the light and hung around her face in loose curls, pushed back by a bandana.
She wore many loose layers of colorful cloth that swayed and shifted constantly, but hung on her just perfectly enough to define the curves of her body.
Kanopus also noticed that on her wrists were a great many gold bracelets, extending in great variety from her wrists halfway to her elbows.
And her face—it was lit up with a sultry smile and a mischievous glint in her bright green eyes.
But when he turned to look at her, the look changed from mischievous to a twisted-up face before she burst out with a laugh.
“What? What is it? What happens in my future??”
