The Giant Of Thunder Creek (tall tale)
Back when Thunder Creek was just a trickle of water, there lived a giant named Big Ben Boulderfoot. He was so enormous that when he sneezed, trees would bend over and fish would jump clear out of the water.
One summer, a drought hit the land. The rivers dried up, the crops wilted, and everyone worried there would be no water left. Big Ben decided to help. He grabbed the biggest shovel in the world—a shovel so large it used a wagon wheel for a handle—and began digging.
