Tom Brady came back to the NFL after a brief retirement thinking he could make another Super Bowl run in Tampa. It has not been a smooth ride at all. He got divorced and his offensive line has been a patchwork all season long. For some reason, Tom Brady has been missing open receivers and they have no running game to speak of right now. Not exactly the kind of thing Tom Brady wanted to come back to at all.

Should this be the season Tom Brady hangs up his cleats? It seems Tom Brady is a shell of himself. He can only give you a few good drives a game anymore. He tries to get the ball out as quickly as possible. It looks like he is afraid to take a hit anymore and I can't say I blame him. With an offensive line that is average and that maybe being kind to them Brady really has no choice throw quickly or get sacked.

What is left for Tom Brady to prove? Nothing really at all. He has cemented his legacy as the G.O.A.T. so that won't ever change. The one thing he has said is he wants to leave on his own terms. He said that no one wanted him when he came into the league citing his sixth-round choice. Brady wants to leave when he wants to not when someone wants to tell him his time has passed. As he has always said he will walk away when he isn't having fun anymore. I guess he is having fun even on a team that has struggled this season. Only time will tell what the future holds for Tom Brady. I'm sure Brady will let us know his future plans when the time is right.
