I close my eyes, and I imagine a hot tea. Standing from the bedside. I place my hand on my heart to feel it beating in my chest. And I think of you most beautiful when the rain is closing in and the windows are shut.
We lay together in my mind and when the sun begins to rise and the heat lightning moves in the opposite direction. I will still be thinking about it. placing my hand over my heart again. Two heart palpitations and the glow of the ferris wheel.
