In France, a court sentenced 51-year-old former top bank executive Guillaume Bucci to 25 years in prison for systematically torturing, raping, and forcing his common-law wife and mother of four children into prostitution. This was reported by France 24 and The Telegraph. According to the investigation, the crimes continued for seven years.
The victim, 42-year-old Laetitia R., testified in court that she had been under Bucci’s “strict psychological control” the entire time and lived in constant fear.
At the beginning of their relationship, the man suggested they engage in BDSM activities. What at first seemed like “light bondage and spanking games” gradually escalated into brutal beatings and torture: beatings with a belt and electrical cords, strangulation.
According to Laetitia, it was outright abuse: she lived in constant fear that her ex-partner would make intimate recordings public if she decided to leave.
“Little by little, I felt like I was dying inside,” she confessed.

The sadist also forced Leticia to drink his urine and lick public toilets.
Over time, the physical abuse escalated into systematic sexual exploitation. The banker forced Leticia to have intimate relations with strangers, and then began “selling” her to friends, colleagues, and casual acquaintances.
During the trial, Guillaume Bucci claimed that these were “consensual sexual games,” stating that he “did not think he was causing her pain.”
Specifically, on the eve of Christmas 2015, he ordered her to go to a gas station and offer herself to every man she encountered.
Another incident of shocking cruelty occurred in 2017: on the day the woman was discharged from the hospital after giving birth, Bucci forced her to sleep with a truck driver.

“I stopped counting at 487 men,” Leticia said, referring to the total number of people she was forced to meet. According to her, she had sexual contact with some of them on multiple occasions.

According to the victim, she was inspired to go to the police by the high-profile case of Gisèle Pelicot, a French woman who her ex-husband and strangers had raped for over 20 years.
But unlike Pelicot, whom her husband drugged, Laetitia was not allowed to lose consciousness.
“He wanted me to be aware of everything that was happening. I remember absolutely everything,” she emphasized.
The prosecution sought a life sentence, citing a high risk of reoffending. The court, however, sentenced Bucci to 25 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of two-thirds of the sentence to be served before he is eligible for parole.
The man was also placed on the sex offender registry, stripped of his parental rights, and prohibited from contacting Laetitia and their children.
