The rain was blurring the neon lights of downtown when Detective David Vance stepped into the abandoned accounting firm. It had been locked up since 1994, preserved in a layer of gray dust. He was looking for clues regarding a string of modern missing persons cases, all connected by a strange detail: every victim disappeared exactly at 9:15 PM after visiting this specific block.

On a desk in the back corner, right next to the third window, David found a pristine leather ledger. It was the only item untouched by dust. He flipped it open. Inside, written in erratic, frantic handwriting, was a log of names, dates, and times. The last entry was dated yesterday, written in fresh, gleaming ink that was still slightly tacky to the touch. It was his own name, followed by tonight's date, and a time stamps: 9:15 PM.
