A custom mission generator for my DnD world has led to me wanting to explore this universe at a faster clip than my players are able to game. (Ideally) each day, I'll generate a new mission and tell a story using those constraints. I expect viewpoint characters to change, though I will make an effort to revisit characters as the stories progress. A note on AI. I do not use it to generate story ideas. If I'm having a hard time figuring out a word for something, I'll describe what I'm looking for, then take its ideas to Google....
