The water cursed down her body as she reached her hand to her head as a migraine rang through her brain, stealing her thoughts and bleeding through her ears. Out of the shower, she went through her medicine cabinet with foggy eyesight. Holding up the bottles an inch from her eyes so that her eyes focused on the words, she found some aspirin and downed a few, cupping her hands under the sink water to chase the pills with. Closing the cabinet, her eyes focused in horror at herself in the mirror. Fungus littered her forehead, vine-like veins hardened, weaving in and out of her skull. It's like her skin had been depleted of water, drying under her very eyes as the skin turned white.
