I found myself on the website... NCMEC (National Center For Missing and Exploited Children) I was told that I was adopted because my parents had both died, i'll call them mom and dad because that's who they were, and who they still are and will always be!!! They say that dad was a bank robber and he died of jaundice, in prison, two months later my mom was supposed to trade sex for drugs with an acquaintance, I'm sure someone she considered a friend, let's just call him Roach! He doesn't deserve the capital R so let's just go with roach. Mom changed her mind and started to SCREAM when roach was trying to force himself on her so in his words to "shut her up" he shoved sand down her throat until mom stopped screaming and she made no more noise! They found her decomposing nude body three days later in the north Ft. Myers woods. He kept calling with tips to lead them to her body and they traced the calls back to his hotel room and roach got a 22 year sentence but served 9½ for "good" behavior, how bad or good can your behavior be when your in prison?? I know if mom was a "pillar to the community" and NOT just another "drug addicted junkie" she would have got REAL justice, sadly she was to them just another nobody, but she wasn't to me.. she was my mommy, that I never got to grow up with,, shit that i can't even remember!!! So memaw was dying of cancer and she had 6 months left to live. She knew she couldn't die knowing that the 3 of us, me and my 2 older sisters, we were 4,6 and 7, would be separated so she went to her local church and she asked around if there was anyone that would take in 3 siblings with no parents or family left, mentioning she was on her deathbed herself. Megan found whom she believed was a PERFECT choice for the 3 of us. Lets call my adopted mother "DD" and our 1st adopted father "CEN". DD somehow fooled everyone, including the MOST important, Memaw! Memaw was or is probably rolling over in her grave if she knew what DD had put us through. We all had it bad, but as everyone knew and told me, that for some reason I had it the WORST!!! DD was mentally and emotionally UNSTABLE and she illegally gained custody of the 3 of us because she lost NOT ONLY CUSTODY BUT ALL PARENTAL RIGHTS of her biological children.
