Welcome to Faelinfell!

Faelinfell is a magical town filled to the brim with warm people, and rich culture!

But don’t let that fool you.

In such a magical place strange things are bound to happen, and the goal of The Daily Jangler is to keep the community updated on all of the current goings-on!

Prepare to be pulled into daring drama, magical mischief, and all sorts of fantastical fun!

Adventure awaits in such a charming little place, and we cannot wait to share it with you.

But first, we should share with you our current writers!

Handling our gossip column is Nestle Thicket - a lovely Fae lady willing and ready to dig in and find all of the diamonds hiding in the dirt!

She is approximately eight inches tall with a wingspan of about six inches across at the widest point. She has lovely green butterfly wings, and fawn colored hair that she keeps in a bun for the sake of her work.

She is an avid gardener, likes to cook, and loves to read and write! She’s a bright, quirky personality with a heart of gold - often going above and beyond to help family, friends and community members.

She will be writing her articles in purple, as it is her favorite color, and she believes that any and all things should be done with enjoyment.

Taking on our maladies and mishaps column is Carrie Orkshire - a half-Orc half-Elf medic who will be detailing different maladies and injuries as well as the way to treat them for the common populace.

She is approximately nine and a half feet tall, with pale green skin and burning blue eyes. Our fierce looking companion has the signature tusks of an Orc, with the characteristic pointed ears of an Elf.

She is the head of the Magical and Herbal Medicinal Clinic on Main Street - the largest building in the center square, featuring a clean white and cream color scheme. She spends her free time reading new medical texts, and researching new ways to use magic and herbs to improve the lives of those who seek her treatments!

She will be writing her articles in green, as it is the most common color of the herbs she uses.

Heading our magical happenings column is Solemnity Charras - an up-and-coming sorceress of human descent!

She is approximately five feet and nine inches tall with vivid purple eyes, dark black hair, and commonly carrying a stack or two of books. Either in her arms, or in the air behind her with magic!

She is the head of the magical research tower on the edges of Faelinfell, and the reason that Faelinfell has a public library that teaches whoever wishes to learn to read. Free of charge, because she believes everyone should be able to learn the love of a good book, or a fascinating research subject!

She will be writing her articles in blue, as her favorite book is bound in blue leather with gold trimmings, and only the blue would show up in our printing press.

And last but not least, taking care of the community column is Derrius Valin - the tabaxi secretary of the Faelinfell mayor - Ceritus Cabling.

He is approximately six foot two inches tall, and has stunning orange eyes. The black cat looks intimidating at first glance, but he really is just a fluffy ball of fun and mischief!

You’ll often find him playing the fiddle for people to dance to in the town square, or doing crafts in the library with the children when he has a spare moment. He is incredibly involved with the community as much as he can be - and he has involved himself in this to keep doing so!

He will be writing his articles in orange, as it is what he feels to be his most significant color.

The editorial team is currently in the process of ensuring all necessary extra information will be available to you in our future posts.

Going forward, you will see extra “pages” that will take you to information such as world lore and recurring or necessary characters to keep in mind!

We at The Daily Jangler wish you a wondrous rest of your day, and hope magic becomes a gentle companion on all of your journeys.
