Morning After
A loud clatter from the opposite side of the bed made her jolt upright, immediately groaning and falling back down with her hands covering her eyes. She heard an echoing groan from her husband, and then a pitiful, "I just wanted a sip of water," before he got all of the way out from the covers. After a moment, he quietly spoke in her direction. "Do you want some water too? I can get a big cup and bring it up." She peeked an eye out and nodded at him, pouting.
"How much did we even drink last night? My head is pounding." She said, covering her eyes back up to block out the light. She heard her husband start walking towards the door, slowly. "We just kept picking good movies and drinking more, I'm sure the kitchen is a mess." He replied as he opened the door all the way and started down the hallway. After about three steps, she heard him trip a little and let out a rather feminine noise of panic as he caught himself.
She burst into a fit of giggles; some groans of pain mixed in as laughing just made the headache worse. "H-honey, are you okay?" She managed to get out, trying to stay quiet long enough to hear his answer. "Fine. Just the stupid fuckin' carpet trying to kill me. Stop laughing at me!" She couldn't control the laughter that was rolling out of her now, she just curled up on her side and hugged her stomach as she cackled.
She eventually calmed down, and he returned with a large cup of ice water and handed it to her with a serious face. "We need to talk. I'm not going to be the one cleaning the fruit off the counter, I will throw up. What's your counter?" Her nose wrinkled in disgust, but he had a point she'd rather clean the slightly mushy fruit, than hot vomit. "I'll do kitchen, you do the living room and bathroom. Deal?" She stuck out her hand, tilting her head to take a long sip of the water. He instantly grabbed her hand and they shook firmly. "Deal. Think about what you want for lunch, too, the oven clock said it was 10:15, apparently."
He tried to reach for the cup, but she pulled back and started drinking it faster, making his mouth drop open in fake offense. "Hey! I got that for US! To SHARE! Lemme have some, mine was the sacrificial water this morning anyways, yours is still full!" She took the straw out of her mouth for a second and took a quick breath before shooting him a grin. "Not cold though." She went back to her insane sipping as he gasped and tried to grab the cup again. Soon enough she suffered consequences of her actions, and she got a brain freeze.
Immediately shoving the cup into his hand and grabbing her face, she kept muttering, "Regret, regret, regret...", as she waited for it to fade. When she finally looked up with watery eyes, her husband smirked at her. "Serves you right, trying to hog the water I got." She smacked his arm, causing some water to spill out and onto his lap. His eyes went wide as his free hand flew to his boxers, keeping the now cold water-soaked material away from his dick. She erupted into a fresh fit of laughter, her husband following not long after with chuckles before he flicked some of the cup water at her face, making her gasp.
"Keep it together, woman! We have to clean before we eat!" He finally said, standing to offer her a hand up from the bed. "To the aspirin, my lady?" She rolled her eyes but accepted his hand, letting him pull her into his arms for a kiss. "To the aspirin, my love, before my head cracks open." He smiled down at her and gave her forehead a quick kiss before giving her his arm, leading her down to the kitchen for the long-awaited hangover medication.
