Every Christmas for me from 2017 to 2020 sucked. I was with a very abusive woman.

In 2021, I remarried for my fourth time and the Christmas season was generally merry. Christmas 2023 was the happiest one for me in a long time! My daughter Primrose Joy Lombardi was born and she rekindled a spark in my heart for the holiday season but would you believe that due to poor circumstances, that we were living in a tent that Christmas?

My son Kevin was born that December 25th and he’d spend the next eight weeks in the NICU. We were heading from California to West Virginia when my wife went into labor while we were camping on my Dateland, Arizona property. With eight weeks in our hands and limited funds, camping on the southern Arizona border seemed ideal until Yuma county Arizona DCS got involved and began an investigation. Well, I don’t need to go into all of those details but DCS took possession of my son from the hospital and my wife and I fled with my daughter Primrose to Florida in an attempt to save my daughter from the clutches of DCS but they captured us in Florida.

Now DCS has Primrose, Kevin and new son Daniel (aka The Milkman). Christmas 2025 will not be a happy one for myself. Primrose that reignited the “Joy” of the holiday season is no longer with us and nor are my boys.

So what now? Each year will be filled with waiting til my children become of age and we can see where our life paths take us.
