Laurel and Amen (Page 6)
Plenty of traffic and some June time shoppers playing across the sidewalk. Laurel stops with the Buick in front of the harbor passing. The tracks and the dilapidated buildings moved with weather and time. She gets out of the buick, parking it on a parallel street close to where the rainbow ends and she finds a bench to finish her sandwich that she was keeping in her folio. The harbor, blue and the sky kissing the ocean with yellow. It was starting to cool down a bit with a slight chill wind. Sitting, looking out over the ocean view just a few dolphins peaking amongst the railings edge and not even a few moments until they pass, a man appears. dark blue suite, dressed for the evening. He sits on the bench next to Mrs. Anderson.
