### Ingredients:
- 1 kg chicken or pork (or a combination)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 cup water
### Instructions:
1. Marinate the meat in soy sauce, garlic, and pepper for 30 minutes.
2. Sauté garlic and onion, then add the meat (without the marinade) and brown.
3. Add the marinade, bay leaf, vinegar, water, and peppercorns. Simmer for 30-40 minutes.
4. Serve with rice.
