Hi! I’m a 33 year old mom of a 3 year old girl, whose birthday is tomorrow! My daughters father and I were recently engaged on Veterans Day. I’m your average momma in a lot of ways but also have several qualities that feel uniquely mine. I am extremely close with my family, particularly my one and only little sister, and have a close circle of 3 other girlfriends whom i’ve been friends with since high school at least. I have lived what feels like multiple lives by 33. I have loved and lost, dreamed dreams bigger than I could make reality, and suffered through some pain that I wouldn’t wish on anyone both emotionally and physically. I broke my ankle in a car accident 5 years ago, 2 years prior to having my daughter. I have not been able to walk without the assistance of a device since, crutches or knee scooter. My ankle will never be the same and it had truly changed my life. That being said it has made me who I am in a way, or helped me to define it more anyway. There is always someone who has it worse, I will always have that in mind. I am here to be a voice of encouragement for those who maybe don’t have it quite as bad as me, but can be helped by my empathy and support. I will forever believe happiness is a choice. People want to help people who want to help themselves. Choosing to find the good in everything is the best thing you can do for yourself. I have always wanted to write, share, and be someone others can relate to. To what degree I have no idea, but i’m hoping this will be a start to finding that answer!
