Hi, I’m Crystal. I’m a poet and a psychology student from Bakersfield, California. My writing comes from a place of real pain and healing — I’ve lived through trauma, loss, and addiction, and I use poetry to make sense of it all. Right now, I’m studying psychology at Bakersfield Community College because I want to understand myself and others better. More than anything, I want my words to reach people who feel alone in their struggles and remind them that they’re not. This is my story — messy, real, and still unfolding.
