Born in 1973 and raised mostly by my grandparents, I grew up in Pasadena, TX less than 2 miles from the then famous Gilley's Nightclub. I was literally born in a mobile home. It doesn't get much more redneck than that. Nonetheless, I somehow managed to get a decent education and have always been very good at writing. I have what most would consider a peculiar outlook on life. This is probably because I have managed to somehow live through at least 7 situations that should have killed me and been homeless 3 times for periods lasting anywhere from 3 months to a year. My stubbornness is what lead me to all of those situations, but if I could go back in time I wouldn't change a thing. I now have 2 beautiful teenage daughters and a bitchy, but loving wife.
