Muthombeni Kgaugelo was born in 2007 in Daveyton Mayfield where his mother and father initially lived together. Two years later he moved to his mother’s birth place, a small village in Limpopo Province Bolobedu (Mamaila). After the separation of his parents, the young man got stuck there. Kgaugelo attended his pre-school at Masethwa pre-school, then went on to Kubune Primary school, and later he moved on to Tseana Secondary school, where his passion in writing hit a spark in his life. Kgaugelo is the third and last born child to both his parents; Maile Monyela and Zondi Muthombeni. He has an older brother and an older sister of whom he stays with even today. Kgaugelo used to narrate his stories to his classmates and enjoyed every activity which involved creative writing. Later he formed acting groups and tried to shoot a few movies of which he wrote himself, however the whole thing was not much of a success due to lack of resources. Kgaugelo had hopes of becoming the best youngest writer ever in South Africa, and he is on his path there.
