My 13 year-long career as a solo practicing lawyer has been abruptly terminated by the conspiracy of three judges, who feared I would successfully win one of their positions in an election. Depictions of abuse of power, manipulation of colleagues, and deprivation of rights exist, within the time frame of one calendar year. That’s all it took for these judges to end my career. Despite their unfettered success, they have continued to harass, degrade, and humiliate me, because I refuse to simply “take my licks”. You see, I am a female. One of only two solo practicing females in my community. These judges, they are what we commonly refer to as the “Good Old Boys Club”, and I challenge that authority. I will tell this story so someone, somewhere, will be encouraged to stand up against the corruption.
