"I hope that technology, whether it's blockchain or not, will emerge and allow patients to own their medical data, monetize it if they like and also control who has access to it. Currently, there are far too many barriers for patients to access and share their own medical records. This was made evident during the pandemic when getting vaccines, vaccination records, etc were all a complicated and opaque process. Lots of work needs to be done. "
