I loved to create and explore new worlds through writing, role play and my own mind. When I graduated college in 2019, I knew I wanted to pursue writing and editing as my career path. However, when the pandemic hit, I was laid off and my life hit a turbulent point both financially and personally so I had to put my dreams on hold. I would occasionally find the inspiration to edit but I couldn't sit still long enough to maintain that pace. Flash forward to 2025 and I have ended up a permanent substitute teacher to support myself financially and my personal life has, mostly, stabilized. So, I found my spark for creativity again. Two ideas, one shorter, a test to see if I could still write for the screen (The Random Option) and a pilot, a story I constructed from a writing exercise my students were working on. Write a journal from the perspective of someone living in the Old West. I wrote one myself as it seemed fun to me and it spiraled into Outlaw's Odyssey. My love for storytelling has never left me and these two scripts have proven that to myself.
