Aries Awotwe is a Ghanaian-American writer and poet. He was born in Accra, Ghana, and moved to the United States when he was 10 years old. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in English and Creative Writing. Aries's work has been published in several literary journals, including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Poetry. He has also received several awards for his writing, including the Pushcart Prize and the PEN/Hemingway Award. Aries is currently working on his first novel. He is also a teacher of creative writing.
