Everything has a consequence.

Looking back on your life, do you regret anything? Is there something lingering in your mind that makes you wish you could go back in time?

Every chapter of this book has made my eyes water. Every story touches my heart. Each one carries a gut-wrenching feeling, as though my heart is being held too tightly—perhaps too strong.

I'm still reading the book, currently on Chapter IV, but the emotions are too much to handle, so I had to pour my thoughts and feelings into this draft.

A writer can truly embed emotions into words, crafting stories that resonate deeply with readers (not me, by the way). Toshikazu Kawaguchi—I'm not sure how he did it, but he did.

Honestly, I bought this book because of the hype I kept seeing online. When I started reading, I couldn’t finish the first chapter in one sitting. I’ve always been a slow reader, savoring stories day by day, but this one was different. It's unlike my usual romance books. At first, I had to push myself to get into it and give it a chance—and I’m glad I did. It didn’t disappoint.

After finishing the first chapter, thoughts began crossing my mind—questions, realizations. Fortunately, I don’t have any deep regrets that would make me want to sit in that chair. Well, that was true until I wrote this sentence. Looking back again, there is one thing, something I can’t fully share. Maybe just a glimpse of it—I wish I had kept my innocence a little longer. I wish I had allowed my emotions to be seen more; maybe there would be fewer scars. The latter, I can still work on. I'm only 21, and I hope I still have time. As for the former, I suppose I'll just have to live with it.

I can’t wait to finish this book and seek out the next three in the series.

Honestly, it’s a bit scary to read more, knowing that more questions and self-reflections will arise. But hey, at least we get to be self-aware, and that leads to self-improvement.
