I woke up in the backrooms, and everything was dark. All I had was a flashlight. I turned it on so I could see where I was and figure out how to find my way out. As I walked around, I kept feeling like someone—or something—was following me, but whenever I looked behind me, no one was there. The whole place felt eerie and unsettling. Everything looked identical, with endless hallways and walls that seemed to repeat. Then, I noticed light coming from a room and decided to sneak inside. What I saw horrified me—a monster was there, and jars filled with human heads lined the walls. Disgusted and terrified, I quickly ran away. After wandering aimlessly for what felt like hours, I still couldn’t find an exit. Exhausted and hopeless, I gave up and lay down on the ground to sleep. When I woke up, everything was completely different. It was daytime instead of night, and the surroundings had transformed. I got up from a strange table and chair and began searching again, still desperate to find a way out. But, once again, there seemed to be no escape. Then, I heard a voice calling my name in the distance. Hopeful, I followed the voice, but just as I got closer, it suddenly disappeared. Frustrated and disappointed, I started hearing a loud ringing sound. It grew more annoying by the second. Finally, I heard my name being called again, mixed with the ringing. That’s when I woke up—and realized it had all been just a dream.
