One day at a little cabin in the woods, there was a 1 year old named Dave. Dave lived alone with his two parents. His mom turned on the TV in the living room, and the latest news started playing. 

On the TV it said: (News Reporter): “Welcome everyone to the News Network. Today we will be showing you an amazing invention a scientist made. The invention is a Robot that can create any type of Robot or gadget you want. Now he presses a button to randomize what to make. Now he activates the machine. What's this? It appears he is handed the right chip that controls what it does.” (Scientist): “oh no! I accidentally put in the chip I was working on! It's the one that was malfunctioning! Who knows what's gonna happen!” (News Reporter): “oh my, this doesn't look good.”

The machine, 20 stories high, starts building. It builds two giant claws for it's self. It uses it's two claws to pick up the Scientist and throws him really far away. The Scientist didn't survive the fall. The robot starts making other big robots, and they go all around the world and start attacking and killing everyone. 

(Dave's mom): “oh gosh, we have to stay in here and keep Dave as save as possible. What do we do?!?!” The robot then starts making huge robots to go all around the world, stay in place, and create robots too.

A giant robot claw then smashed through the roof. (Dave's dad): “everyone hide and stay down!” Dave's mom picks up Dave and follows him to the bathroom. (Dave's mom): “He'll be safe in here” so she puts Dave in the cupboard under the sink.

The giant robot claw smashes through the wall and grabs Dave's dad. (Dave's mom): “nooo!!!” (Dave's dad): “let me go!”. The robot then throws him far away. He lands in an ocean not too far away but, was too low underwater, then drowns.

The giant claw grabs Dave's mom. (Dave's mom): “oh no! How am I supposed to take care of Dave now? Who's gonna take care of him? well, I have a feeling he's gonna survive, for a long time. ” The robot then throws her far away. She lands in a big wheat field, but doesn't survive the fall.

Back at the destroyed cabin, the robot looks around inside the cabin, but didn't see anything, so it went away to look for other people to get rid of.

Dave fell asleep after 5 munites, still in the cupboard. 1 hour later, Dave woke up crying. No one heard him because there was no one around him at all, because the robots have already killed everyone in the entire world, that fast.

After Dave finished crying, he pushed open the cupboard door and rolled out. He started crawling around the wood that was everywhere. Dave was hungry, so he started looking around for his bottle. He crawled over to the kitchen, and found the tipped over fridge with milk, fruit, cake, juice, eggs, butter, pop, candy, and full bottles all over the floor. When Dave saw the bottles, he crawled over to them, picked one up, sat up, and started drinking it.

When he was done, it was already dark out. When he got tired, he crawled over to the cupboard in the bathroom, and went to sleep. The wind from the hole in the wall blew to cupboard shut.

Everyday, he would do the same routine, open and get out of the cupboard, go to the fridge and get a bottle, crawl around, and when tired, go to the cupboard an go to sleep, then the wind will shut it. He was lucky that whenever a robot was near, it didn't notice him.

One day, he found his mom's old phone. When he opened it, he found out how to play a video. Dave played a video his mom download for him to learn his ABCs, his numbers, his colors, and how to talk. He would play it every day because he liked the sounds and colors.

When he turned 23, he decided to fix up the roof and wall so that he didn't get caught by the robots. He knows about them because, during the attack of the robot taking his parents, he could see what was going on through a tiny hole by his head. He knew that that was a dangerous thing and it wasn't good.

While he was fixing the roof and wall, he hid sometimes because there was robots passing by. (Dave): “I'm glad I fixed the roof because I do not want any robots getting me.”  

One week later, Dave found a recording sticking out of the TV. When he put it in and pressed play, the same news started playing from when it all started. When it stopped, it got him thinking. (Dave): “is this how all all of this happened? Because of some crazy talented scientist putting the wrong thing in? That's crazy!” 

The same robot that took away Dave's parents found the cabin again, and noticed it was fixed. It knew that someone was still alive in there. (Dave): “I think I hear a robot. I better hide until it's gone.” So he went in the bathroom.

The robot took it's giant claws and smashes the roof to the living room. Then it ripped the entire roof off the house and found Dave in the bathroom. It tried to grab Dave but he moved out of the way just in time.

Dave ran out the back door and into the woods while the giant robot chased him. The robot picks up and throws cars at Dave, but he misses every car. Then Dave found a dock to the ocean. 

The robot smashes the dock with Dave at the end of it. Dave has nowhere to go, so he jumps into the ocean just as the robot smashes the last of the dock. When he does he sees a strange rock along the bottom.

So he swims to the strange looking rock and moves it, then sees a door that says: Secret science lab. On it. So he turns the wheel, and it opens the door and he goes inside a small room with water coming in, so he closes the door fast. 

Dave opens the other door water goes into a drain. When he walks in, he sees lots of gadgets, screws, computers, and more. He knew he was in the Scientists secret lab. He walked over to a desk and sees blueprints for a giant robot. It looked exactly like the one he saw on the TV.

Dave was walking around, looking for something that could stop the robots. He was looking through drawers in desks, then found blueprints for a time machine. (Dave): “its possible to make a time machine? Eh, probably not. But if he can build a giant self building robot that has a mind of its own, then maybe it is possible to build a real time machine. I'm gonna follow these blueprints to build a time machine because maybe I can go back in time before the Scientist activated the robot and tell him that he put the wrong chip in.”

Dave started looking for tools, following the blueprints, and building. The robot started building water proof robots to go down to Dave and get rid of him. Dave heard something outside, he knew it was robots. (Dave): “oh no! I better bring this stuff with me and hide!” 

Dave ran through the lab, looking for somewhere to hide so he could finish building the time machine. Then he found an elevator, so he went inside and pressed the lowest floor, Wich was floor 10. The robots found the door, so they took a drill and drilled through the door, letting water in.

Dave made it to the 10th floor, so he ran over to a desk and found a folder that said: in case self building robot doesn't go right, use this. So he opened it, and found directions to the place where the device was to shut down the robots. 

The robots were searching the lab for Dave, as water started flooding it. Then the robots found the elevator. So the robots drilled through the elevator and started searching the 2nd floor, as the water filled the first floor, then through the elevator. 

The directions said to go to the 6th floor, so he went to the elevator, and saw water leaking above the door. (Dave): “oh no, the robots found me! I better do this quick!” So he went in the elevator, and pressed floor 6. The robots then started searching the 3rd floor. The directions said to go to locker 12 and the device should be in there.

The robots started searching the 4th floor. Dave found locker 12, but it was locked. He looked on the other side of the directions, and it said: if the locker is locked, the key should be in a flower pot next to the elevator. The robots then drilled through the floor to floor 5, and started searching. Dave could hear the robots above him. (Dave): “oh no, they're right above me. I better hurry and be quiet.” 

Dave went over to the elevator and found the flower pot. When he picked up the flower pot, he accidentally dropped it and it smashed, making a loud noise, the robots heard the flower pot and started drilling to the 6th floor. (Dave): “oh no! I better hurry!” So he quickly searched through the dirt and found the key, just as the robots made it down.

The robots used their claws to try to grab Dave, while he ran towards locker 12. He unlocked it, but saw a note. Then water started coming out of the holes in the ceiling. So Dave ran to the elevator, went inside it, and pressed floor 10. As he went down, the robots drilled through the elevator door and follows the elevator down.

When the elevator stopped, Dave ran to a bathroom and read the note. The note said: If the robot shut down device isn't here, then I brought it with me to the place where I activate the huge robot. (Dave): “dang it! I'm at the bottom floor with water filling this place up and robots after me.” the robots drilled through the wall, and started looking for Dave.

Dave heard the robots outside of the bathroom. He quietly opened the door, and speed walked to the elevator. When he pressed the button to open the elevator, it made a click noise, and the robots heard. Dave quickly went into the elevator and presses floor 1. The robots made it to the elevator, drilled through the elevator door, and followed the elevator up.

When the elevator doors opened, water started coming in, so Dave held his breath and swam to the exit door. Right as he swam out, the robots drilled through the elevator and elevator doors. The robots knew he swam out because of all the water, so they came out too. When Dave got out of the water, he saw the giant robot. Dave ran to and through the woods, as the giant robot chased him. 

The giant robot started grabbing trees and throwing it at Dave, while he ran back to the cabin. When he got back to the cabin, he went inside, went to the TV, and replayed the recording to see where the Scientist was. When he played it, in the background it showed the Scientist in front of the town's water tower.

Dave ran out the front door just as the robot made it to the cabin. Dave saw the water tower in the distance and started running to it. The robot spotted Dave under the trees and started throwing cars, rocks, trees, and more at Dave, luckily he missed everything. 

When Dave made it to the water tower, he saw the gadget. He read what it said and it said: Emergency Robot Shut Down Device. So just as he was about to grab it, the robot grabbed Dave. The robot had Dave in it's claw in a throwing position. Just as the robot was gonna throw Dave, he found a piece of wood in his pocket and threw it at the gadget, hitting the button. Then the robot shut down, all the robots.

When the robots shut down, Dave fell out of the claw, not falling far. Dave saw a chip on the ground, then he realized it looked exactly like the one on TV. So he opened a small door that was on the back of the giant robot. He climbed up a little bit high up, And found a chip. When he took it out, he put the right chip in and climbed back down and out. 

When he went in front of the robot, he reactivated it. When it reactivated, it said: (robot): “what would you like me to build?” (Dave): “I hope this works. A working time machine!” (robot): “okay. Building Time Machine.” Then a time machine came out of the robot. (Dave): “Yes! It worked!” So he went inside it, and typed: 22 years ago so 11:00 p.m. so the time machine disappeared with Dave inside, then reappears next to the Scientist. 

Dave walked out with the Scientist in shock. (Scientist): “what? That looks exactly like the time machine on my blueprints. There must be a reason you came here.” (Dave): “yes, there is a reason. Do not activate the machine. You have the wrong chip in the robot, it's the malfunctioning chip. When you activated it, the giant robot literally killed everyone on earth. When it saw I was still alive 22 years later, it tried to kill me. Robots took over the world. So make sure when you're making something like this, you check to see if everything is right.” (Scientist): “oh wow, thank you for letting me know! I won't activate the machine until I replace the chip with the right one.” (Dave): “you're welcome.” (Scientist): “you just saved the world.”

Dave went back in the time machine and left. Then the Scientist put the right chip in, then activated the robot. So after that, there was lots of helping robots, flying cars, and more futuristic stuff that helped everyone. Dave grew up with his parents with a bright life and future.
