Napoleon Bonaparte was of average height for his time. The idea that he was short comes from a few things. First, the French had different standards of measurement than the British did. What the French called 5'4" in France was 5'7" in Britain, but the British, wanting to make Napoleon look like less than he was, used the French number and made fun of him. Blatant propaganda.

That is why, from this day forward, I think we should use the name Bovino Complex to describe a very short man who is unable to deal with his height and therefore tries to be stronger, tries to pretend he is large and strong. After all, Mr. Greg Bovino truly embodies that disorder. He obviously wants to be the big man. Look at the way he dresses, look at the way he interacts with the press.

He’s a coward, a small man inside as well as out. He pretends to be large. His Gestapo-inspired fashion choices, his choice of words, and the way he is framed in press conferences. Mind you, watching him jump up and down when he is being interviewed on the street is pure comedy gold.

Then there is the opposite. Alex Pretti. He was an ICU nurse for the VA. His life was spent trying to save the lives of US military veterans, and because it’s an ICU, I’m sure he often failed.

His last act on earth was to put his body between a victim and a group of attackers. He had a gun, but didn’t resort to it. Instead, he made himself a barrier. The pepper spray hit him first, reducing the amount the woman was hit by.

I’m not saying that the ICE thugs shot Alex Pretti because they were ashamed of their cowardice and how it was brought to light by his heroism, but I’m not sure that it didn’t play a role.

The video was clear, and every subsequent angle affirms the same thing. Alex Pretti never drew his weapon. He was hit with a spray, reportedly pepper spray. He was shoved to the ground. His weapon was taken from him without him ever having drawn his weapon or even reached for it. An ICE agent then fired into Alex Pretti from behind. Afterwards, the agents shot him an additional nine times.

It gets even worse, as DHS immediately secured the scene, preventing state investigators from gaining access. State investigators got a court order, but that was ignored.

Witnesses were taken into custody by ICE.

These people are cowards, led by a man who is the textbook example of a small man overcompensating for his lack of stature instead of building himself up via character.

Someday, there will be history books written. Bovino, Trump, Noem, and Miller will be the new Nazi’s. MAGA will be the bad guys of history. Alex Pretti will be seen as a hero. There will be statues, memorials, and he will be the standard against which men are judged. Someone who sacrificed his own safety, and ultimately his life, in defence of someone who was defenceless.
