The original little mermaid from April 7th, 1837 backstory. The motivation of the little mermaid was a self sacrifice of her immortal soul. The mermaid had to have her tongue chopped off so she can have legs but her legs felt like walking on knifes. The mermaid wanted to marry the prince but the prince had other plans. The prince fell in love with another woman and he married her instead of the mermaid. The mermaid returned back to the see and was deceased and turns into sea foam. This was a tale posted by Hans Christian Anderson. This was made in Copenhagen, Denmark tilted as the fairy tale told for children.

The animated movie of the little mermaid from November 17, 1989 film about King Triton's daughter named Ariel. Ariel has a dream about becoming a human and her dream became true. In order for Ariel dream to become true she had to see the sea witch named Ursula. Ariel had to trade in her voice to become a human she had 3 days to kiss her true love. Ariel's true love was prince Eric. When Ariel and prince Eric kissed she was officially a human with legs. Ariel got her voice back and the prince and her got married. Prince Eric and Ariel lived happily ever after. The movie was made by Walt Disney. The movie was made in a warehouse in Glendale, California.
