Weight: Around 270 kg

Physical Description: Rex is a young Anglersect from the swamp planet Vesperia. His neck and underbelly consist of soft, leathery brown skin that needs to be regularly moisturized to keep from drying out. His legs and the beetle-like shell on his back are formed of a harder material similar to an insect's exoskeleton; they will continue to grow as he ages until he armor over almost all of his body. He has red eyes with night vision and a glowing lure on his head to attract prey. Anglersects are carnivores that eat mostly fish but can digest pretty much any meat they catch, their sharp teeth even being able to bite through the armor of giant alligators! He has a long tail with a large, clawed hand on the end to grab things, like prey, or help him climb the gigantic trees of his home planet. Being semi-aquatic, he can hold his breath for long periods of time and even sleep underwater.

Story (so far): Adopted as a baby by half-goblin spaceship pilot, Nyssa; he now accompanies her as a loyal companion as she travels, trying to make a living as a spaceship pilot. Like any loyal pet, he does his best to be helpful. Though, he can be a bit troublesome at times...
