Survival. Many reasons I should just stop trying/ Countless nights I have stayed up without a wink/ I think of the could have been/ And the should not be/ I listen to the crickets do their thing all night long/ I should give life a rethink/ Or perhaps I should rewrite my Story. But then that means dying and rebirth/ So I say to myself/ It's okay to fail/ It's okay to cry without stop/ It's okay to ask why./ But don't forget that You are a conqueror/ A snail-sense conqueror./ So I lay my head to sleep/ And soon the sun breaks into my room,/ With a smile not a grin/ I say, we go again today Lord/ Direct Me, for I know that's you smiling./ So even if the darkness drains me/ Even if hunger sets in,/ I do my best to Survive/ And be the best me I wish for. ♥️♥️💯♐♐
