CozyCon is an online multi fandom convention based out of Canada. The convention takes place online through twitch and VR chat. This convention is ran by Temrin the owner who in their discord server gave backlash to a member named under the Alias Avo Doge for using AI in an app builder while trying to use it to make a social media platform test kit and not the final version.
Avo comes forward with the incident and the convention has responded to Avo in regards to their behavior and it has been deemed extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate.
All I did was simply share something I thought was cool and did most of the work on myself. I was not expecting Temrin the Conchair to act the way she did. I felt unwelcomed and devalued as a person. I get it rules are rules but to the contrary I did not know that it was in the rules therefore making her behavior unprofessional towards me. I suffered emotional distress and felt outcasted sending me PTSD waves all over again from my past endeavors. All I wanted was a second chance. Not be targeted for harassment over something I made using AI Assistance. It goes to show you can not trust the staff at CozyCon at all whatsoever!
It is unclear still as to why this high school like incident occurred. Below you will find Avo's post from DeviantArt regarding this issue further as they have taken action against the con chair. It will be unclear as to what the Vancouver authorities will do during this incident. We will have to wait and see.
I have tried being nice about this incident for a far too long. I now speak publicly on the dubious behavior of the staff and organizers of CozyCon for the following:
~ Discrimination: Disability
~Unlawful Harassment and Banning Of Members
This began when I made a small mistake regarding my misuse of AI. I stepped away hoping to comeback and give a sincere appology only to be shunned, banned and discriminated by Temrin and her staff over having Autism and PTSD with them claiming I am just "Playing victim to return to the con grounds" I have medical paperwork from my Dr proving I have both disabilities and they are debilitating mainly being PTSD.
Everyone in the convention has blocked me and I have filed a report to the proper authorities regarding this matter as I feel it is within my human rights to do so as this con has indeed violated them thereof.
Please consider my one time experience as a justification as to why Temrin can not be trusted. Thank you! Cheers!
