Longing for Light
Longing for exposer to the sun
Feeling the warmth from it’s rays
Breathing in the warm clean air
Stemming from its clean shining light
No need of windows closed and heaters
No need to only interact through screens
Grazing right by as I sit idly inside
Let me out of this prison of dark silence
This prison of small discomforts eating away at me like a tick on a dog
Let me be, let me see the sun.
