Just words bro
at face value this, could be, "just words bro!" but place this on stage give it a timeline, on top of emotion it's much much more. For me the word whity doesn't irritate or really matter. It's another adjective. The words surrounding it are where my mind is set to hear the message. So, I ask myself, why Jamin felt this so much he needed to share it. I want you to consider the timeline this was written. I feel his words. I acknowledge his emotion.
Readdress the timeline. What else was going on with our races, culture in America. Now stop thinking inside that bubble "America". What was going on globally? How were other races, cultures and human station being handled at the time?
We Americans want to add insult to injury. One hundred percent of the time. We want what we want and it has to happen now. We are one bubble amongst an entire ocean of bubbles.
And...
We are new.
We want shit to change.
This was our entire first chapter. America the beautiful birthed a new Empire from empires. Monarchy, religious oppression and culture differences to start a new.
And we've done nothing but assert our big ass egos to our father empires and former opressers.
I know you know we know what starting anew is like.
America has not left the global arena long enough to be able to say everything was wrong from the beginning and now I want reparations.
We've barely gotten out of the corral. As far as EMPIRES and their many taxes taken out of it's populous have shown since the beginning of time is concerned.
I say whity was just a baby when our constitution was written. We didn't know shit.
We already know America is nothing but a now society wanting it here and when I want.
I think we as a country. What ever our differences have been or are currently need to be recognized at face value for the time we lived and stop asking for our credit due and earn it today in our time.
