free note

First get your character to dornogal, after achieving level 80, and get your character to the appropriate level to start doing heroic dungeons. If you cannot queue for the heroic dungeons with dungeon finder yet that is fine, you can run them with friends, family, guildies or other people for gold in game if you so choose. What this enables is someone to earn lots of valorstones, crests, and 571 upgradable adventurer items from running the heroic dungeons. The 571 upgradeable blues are very nice to begin with and great along the way while progressing to getting as many 590 items (from tradeskill blues, at the crafting table) as you can... which is basically a full set of items if you want, minus perhaps trinkets.

So at first you run a couple heroics, you will need 3 successful runs to the end boss to earn the 10 wheathered harbinger crests. Then you login to dornogal and go to the vendor in game called 'Llande'. She is the one who can sell you the item you need from the 30 wheathered crests in order to go to the crafting table, add some components, then get the 577-590 item necessary for tradeskill blues made at the crafting table for you to be completed as epics.

Next go to the crafting table with your 'Nascent Wheathered Harbinger Crest' and get the additional crest you need produced.

After this you can get basically any blue that can be worn on your character from the new expansions options made into a 577-590 epic item (purple). This is very good for getting your character geared up for new raids and mythic 0 content, or perhaps a step in the right direction towards running mythic+ later if you are so inclined.
