What is the purpose of religion? Why should we follow religion if it’s so hard and there’s so many?

Why Islam? If we were all atheist our suicide rates would go up by likely 40% due to not having purpose for hardships and not having a reason to do good. Or even have something that will be worth disciplining ourselves for. Gaza, Pakistan, India, and other poor countries would have a highest suicide/murder/death rate. people with anger would have the most bloodshed. But these don’t happen because of religion, rules, consequences and ourselves. 

Purpose is a reason for things for example you eat to live, you play games because it’s fun, you turn on the light to see. But some things that have a purpose that we have no control over. Such as who gave birth to you, where you were born, why were you taught this, why do you have these differences etc. If we believe in no god, no higher beings, no religion, just science, that's when science becomes an annoying job because we know that if the sun is just one cm away from its proper spot we would either burn or be too cold. We know that the sun and planets and many things are non-living. No brain or heart for it to just put itself in a proper spot, how'd it know? In atheism they believe in science not god. They have so many questions unanswered why the big bang? How did the big bang come? How did everything put itself in a proper spot without any help? Why do we all look different? and so many more. If we have no purpose we wouldn’t be the same. If we were all atheists we wouldn’t be as rude or as kind. We would mostly be depressed, suicidal, rude and if we were paid we would only then be kind. 

If nothing has a purpose we wouldn’t be alive, we would hate everything or we would do nothing

If we  had no purpose justice would be harder to serve if there was no god or higher beings. How would anything happen without purpose? Allah's first creation was the pen. He said to the pen to write. The pen then asked what should I write? Allah said to write all that will happen until the day of judgement. Everything that has happened was decreed at least before the big bang. It was all planned out for you, when you were born your whole future was planned by Allah. When bad things happen its for a purpose. What's the purpose? The purpose is to help you build up your strength and Allah doesn't test you more than you can take.
