My First Note: Are Some Dreams a window to Alternate Universes
I always had a thing for exploring dreams, types of dreams, their meanings, lucid dreams. While some dreams I believe are just giving you signs from your subconscious of what you're going through emotionally and spiritually, I think other more rare dream are actually a window to an alternate reality or universe, like those dreams where you can see yourself as if you're watching a show and you are in it. I don't know if anyone else had dreams like those, but they are intriguing and don't seem to just be signs, maybe just another glimpse into another universe. I always believed there's more universes than the one we're in, I mean the space is endless, the solar system isn't all there is. It's like the ocean, we haven't explored 90% or more of the entire ocean, same thing with space because we are physically incapable to do so, and maybe that's okay. I don't think we have to explore the whole world let alone the universe, I'm pretty sure there's more of whatever out there.
With that being said, I like to think that our dreams aren't just dreams (Black Phone movie reference?) and it shows us more than we're incapable to explore and see in a physical conscious state. Personally, I had dreams that I rather not visit again, it was like in another world and I was in a whole different position from where I am now. For example, I'm single, I had a dream I was dating someone, I don't know if they were good for me or not, but I did feel unhappy, other dreams I was with someone whom I felt satisfied and happy but those were rare, yet obviously I rather prefer them. Other dreams career wise, I saw myself in a great position, I don't remember what I was doing but I know I was traveling, going places where I rather not be in or not, and sometimes my mother was there with me, and the crazy thing it felt like a regular Tuesday, like I did this all the time. It didn't feel like the world I was in, it felt like being in another world, another universe, a better one or a worse one than the one I'm in.
To me, it's quite boring to think there's nothing of an alternate universe and it's only this universe, but I can understand, to each its own. It's just always a question that pops up occasionally, especially when I have dreams that questions my existence let alone my life. That's where I like to close this off. I hope this was a great read for you and you enjoyed it even though it's just me rambling about some random dreams. I hope you're have a good day/night. Sweet dreams.
