Does the art inform the philosopher, or does the philosopher inform the artist? It's an interesting question, and the truth might reside somewhere in the middle. For if we can say anything about art, it's that it exists at the edge of human reason, peeking into, and exploring the mystery, beauty, and tragedy of the irrationalities of the human experience. A truly great work of art can be seen as resting
