Babysitting is a common way of making money, whether you are watching someones dog, child, or managing someones home. Finding someone who trusts you might be a problem since its hard to trust a random person to stay with the things/people they love.

To find someone that needs a babysitter or house-sitter, go around your neighborhood, get along with your neighbors. Once you find a person who might need a babysitter, find a day where they are not busy, on a Sunday might be great option, go and ask them if they need a babysitter, make sure they have kids or they don't have anyone that manages their home. If you don't live in a neighborhood, thats okay. Print out fliers and post them in a busy area. This is a great tactic of advertising. Once you have a client make a good impression, don't bargain with the prices, wait for a while (depends on how many times they hire you). Over time you can make steady income off of watching someones house or kid. Of course this might be very time consuming for some people but you need to be prepared, bring a book, bring a portable console if able to. Find something that will keep you occupied for that period of time.
