In the off-season the Milwaukee Brewers have many decisions that will need to be made. Probably one of the toughest is with Craig Counsell. He has been an excellent manager for the Brewers, but he is going to want more money to stay. I'm sure Counsell will have a few teams wanting his services. Will the Brewers be willing to be top bidden to keep his services in Milwaukee??

Milwaukee has never been an organization that really is willing to spend money to keep top talent. This is why it will be hard for the Brewers to keep Counsell. They just are not a ballclub that likes to spend money. Another factor that many people really haven't look into is getting a new voice in the clubhouse. Over time no matter how good a manager is players tune a manager out after a long tenure. It happens to all managers and that is something Milwaukee needs to look at a lot closer.

The Brewers need to first bring in players and get their opinions on Craig Counsell and if they still wanna play for him. This will give the Brewers a good idea if they should keep Counsell or not. Gathering every available information will let the Brewers make the best decision about there team and Craig Counsell as well.
