To start off this review I must admit I wan't immediately captivated by this book. It took at least one hundred pages for me to be truly intrigued by the books potential to be amazing. It is among some of King's more realistic books and can be easily compared to the Hunger games which was published 29 years later. While I didn't immediately love the book I soon learned to appreciate the story line.
