Abner Tellez is set to make a powerful entrance into the music world with the release of his second debut album, Melancholy, arriving October 17th on all major streaming platforms.

Crafted over the course of four intense months, Melancholy is more than just an album—it’s a personal triumph. Spanning 16 emotionally raw tracks, the project was written and recorded during one of the most challenging periods of Tellez’s life. While struggling with depression and constant thoughts of quitting music entirely, Tellez turned inward and let the pain shape his most honest work to date.

"This album nearly didn’t happen," he shares. "There were so many nights I wanted to give up. I was mentally drained, questioning my worth, questioning if my voice mattered. But making music—even in the darkest moments—kept me grounded. Melancholy became the thing I held onto."

The result is a powerful debut that explores themes of mental health, self-doubt, heartbreak, isolation, and resilience. Sonically, Melancholy flows between ambient soul, alternative indie, and experimental soundscapes—each track layered with emotional depth and intention.

From sparse piano-driven moments to lush, atmospheric arrangements, the 16 tracks showcase Tellez’s ability to blend vulnerability with artistry. The album has already been praised by early listeners for its raw emotional honesty and immersive sound design.

Abner Tellez, who wrote and co-produced the entire project, draws inspiration from artists like Frank Ocean, Sufjan Stevens, James Blake, and Joji—yet he carves out a voice that is unmistakably his own.

An official music video for the lead single “me duele saber” will drop alongside the album’s release, with behind-the-scenes content to follow in the weeks ahead.

Stay tuned for the full tracklist reveal and pre-save options. Melancholy arrives October 17th—a debut album that speaks directly to anyone who's ever fought to find peace in the middle of the storm.
