In the late 80’s a radio station where I lived called 101.5 WPDH a now classic rock radio station held a contest at shop rite supermarket and they drew my name from a hat or a roller and I won the Cinderella album in 1988.

They did have and still do have good songs such as Please Don’t go girl, Hangin Tough, The Right Stuff, Step by Step these are just a few of their biggest hits that come to mind as well as after their hayday they did put out an album in the mid 90’s with a single called “Dirty Dawg” which is a jam in it’s self.

MC Hammer was my gateway and initial exposure to the music of rap and Hip Hop and to him I say thank you and that is why Hammer will always be one of my favorite rap artists of all time and space. MC Hammer was the first and only rapper to my knowledge was dancing and rapping and basically giving the audience the show that they paid for

The Battle for Ozzfest was a brainchild of Ozzy and Sharon and MTV. The idea of the show was it was a competition show where Metal bands from around the country as well as the world who were chosen to compete in games and challenges and the ultimate prize was the winning band would get a spot on the MainStage at Ozzfest.

In 2007 Ozzy and Sharon had decided to Ozzfest free and it was fantastic! That was the year that I had gone to Ozzfest it was my once in a lifetime chance to get to see Ozzy in concert. I am glad I could go.

In a previous article i wrote regarding Ozzfest I wrote about how I don’t think that Ozzfest should return with Ozzy and quite frankly I still don’t. However, I have looked at it from both sides of the aisle as they say and though i stand by my point of view i also see that Ozzfest should carry on and it would be a great way to carry on and honor Ozzy’s name and legacy and also still fly the flag for heavy music and metal as it had always done.

remember seeing Sugar Ray and Fast Ball together on tour the time that they played the local fair ground. A friend of my mother' s was working backstage in catering I actually had seen members of Sugar ray getting off of the tour bus. Sugar Ray was touring in promotion of their last album along with Fast Ball who are considered one hit wonders but a hit none the less with their song "The Way" which is a song written about an article where the people in the song actually happened in real life for such a happy sounding song the story is truly dark.

Raul Julia was and is the best actor to have ever played the role of Gomez Addams. He played Gomez for the Addams family movie released in 1991 and also the follow up to the motion picture Addams family values. I think it was made in 1992 but released 1993 if I’m getting this accurately. Raul, Julia playing Gomez Adams.

In 1992 Dolly Parton did a movie called straight talk and it is one of my favorite pictures of all time. In a nutshell, the movie is about Shirley Kenyon played by Dolly Parton who used to be a dancer in some town in the southern regions of the United States

Before I go on, I would like to say rest in peace to Dolly Parton. Now being at the uncurable optimist and dreamer and wish her that Shirley Kenyon’s character is in the movie one after my own heart by the way she goes to the Chicago Bridge while she’s still looking for work and you know it does makes her wish and the reporter that she meets played by James Woods named Jack.

The song "Stone Cold Believer" by Southern Rock band .38 Special is one of my favourite songs for a number of reasons. To begin with this song really does boost a person's confidence like myself and it 's one of those song in it's lyrics that gives courage.

Hot Topic has had a great evolution in its existence period it began as a heavy metal store that catered to the heavy metal set in its Inception and then as musical trends went on it became something else period hence the name I think that's why the name of the store is Hot Topic because it always stays current andAnd yes it goes along with Trends but still in a good way.

Do you know that there is actually a biographical motion picture about the lip sync group Milli Vanilli? I must tell you that the movie is really well made. I enjoyed the movie very much.

Recently I saw on Instagram how they were asking if should OzzFest return, many support the idea yes i see where you would get the idea that it would be a good idea but since things because of traffic was Ozzy’s namesake Festival

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette is a great album and contribution to alternative music. Great album!
