No one else could feel this warmth that I feel everyday

My sister is the sunshine that’s why I call her Rae

She blankets the blue sky and when I need her most

Rae floats across the world for me she meets me at the coast

Sometimes she’s the wind and she wisps upon my hair

Rae picks me up when needed and when I call her she is there

She walks the moon at night and dances on the stars

Rae wraps me in her warmth and heals each of my scars

To me she is everything my sun my wind my sky

Most importantly she is my sister and that’s a love you cannot buy

I really love my Rachel and want to be her warmth too

I want to take my sisters pain when she is feeling blue

If I can be your sun even just for one day

I will warm you like a blanket and take your hurt away

I can show you the ocean or cool you with the breeze

Maybe dance on the moon with you to put your heart at ease

Rae has always been my sister and she’ll forever be my sun

I hope the moon has room for more than just one
