The king had but daughters three each prettier than the last. "whoever brings me the brightest bloom; my kingdom to that lass"

the girls set out to stake their claim; they know this is their chance. They wouldn't want to disappoint the man that they call dad.

The eldest one through battles fought, wars both waged and won, she finds a rose both fierce and sweet, the color red as blood.

The middle princess stayed away from all the blood and violence. She won't fight, she wants to love putting peace above all else. The flower that she comes to find turns out to be a foxglove.

The youngest princess, proud and fair, didn't sway to either side. Some lives were lost to save the lot while other ones survived. She led with courage, truth, and might like those who came before her. The blossom she returned with ended up being a lotus.

The girls came home to show their father the flowers that were found. In the end the youngest princess is the one who got

the crown.
