Short stories written by me.
Some pull from online writing prompts to function as restrictions, similar to artists working with a limited pallet to challenge and inspire themselves.
Some are completely abstract or original concepts.
They are all original pieces, and the inspiration for each will be listed and credited.
For example, I used to do these pieces for sites like Reedsy but they switched to not allowing free entry to short story challenges and as a broke artist, i can't routinely give even small amounts to these sites to simply enter a contest. So instead I am sharing them here....

"Solana" - An original short story

I wrote a short story using a Reedsy prompt. I believe it was something along the lines of: Write a story about a character receiving an item that grants wishes. And the prompt may have included rules about a minimum of wishes, or word count. Often these prompts will also include requirements for a minimum amount of conflict, or a twist of some kind.
This was my story for that. I will also include a link to my personal pinterest mood board for the brainstorming process of this story. That way you can see the whole thing that led to my final piece. I think a story itself is always just one piece of a universe being built, here is that universe.
