The day started out normal enough for an elementary student. Little did I know that my whole world was about to come crumbling down around me. At age nine I was a very bright child who loved to read. Fairy tales and stories of magic were my favorite. I believed anything was possible as long as you truly believed. That however was the day that I learned even more than I wished to believe that world could be a hard and cruel place. Sadly, my story isn't one of hope or happiness. My story begins several days before everything in my world turned dark and crumbled around me.
