A Lunatic Moon is a fictional tale of horror. Some aspects of it are historically related. For instance, dates of certain events are actual.
I wanted to write a story like this with a unique approach to the ordinary. In other words, this is no ordinary horror story. As a big fan of horror, I have done the best I can to keep you looking over your shoulder when you are alone.
Mike Vansickle is attacked and killed by a wild animal on the railroad tracks while walking home from a party. His close friend, Danny Ferguson, finds his body, and the police are dispatched to the town of Glen George....

Danny gets arrested for beating up Jean Duhamel, an old man and assaulting a police officer. Both the police and his parents determine that maybe Danny could use some psychiatric help. Rather than sending him to juvenile detention, he is committed to an inpatient facility for treatment.

He plans to leave the village of Glen George and go all the way back the railroad tracks to the property of Jean Duhamel. Somethin's up. Danny knows this. Tonight he's going to find out.

Danny gets very ill, blood poisoning, by a cut on his thumb from Mike's dirty knife. He has a feverish dream about Duhamel and seems to get a message from Mike...

The story is now in the paper and it's all everyone is talking about. Danny is shocked there's been another death so close to Mike's. He was already suspicious and now he goes to investigate the place where events seem to have come together. An epiphany? an omen? Who is that old guy down the tracks there? Not to mention, what the heck is happening to him? Let's see...
