This story goes out to the fundamentalist, the passionate believer who believes belief must be mirrored to be true, and to the atheist, who couldn’t be bothered to tell the difference. Here I struggle with a question I’ve always struggled with growing up in a midwestern fundamentalist household; do you love God, or is God love? I am not certain both can be true, and I am equally uncertain whether belief is even relevant. Vera certainly doesn’t believe. Come follow Vera with me as she finds her own meanings of love and whether they simply are or they are done to.
